I suspect the stair sides are a single polygon? If so - triangulate them (menu surface->triangulate). AC3D triangulates polys automatically but it looks like your viewer doesn't.

Yeah, that seemed to do the trick :P thanks!

I'm using Blitz 3D in that first screenshot. If that tells you anything.

Give me some time on that and I'll have something ready right now what you see is what you get. That was a result of only just a few hours of experimentation.
