1) Make a box
2) Enter Surface Mode and select one of the four sides 3) Pulldown: Surface Menu/Bevel 4) Set the parameters for how wide the bevel area is, and how far you want it to protrude outward. Experiment with these to see the kinds of results you can get. See the results. I imagine you could go to Vertex mode from that point, select vertices and move them about to change the angle or severity of the bevel.
