Grouping objects
Hello Everybody,
how do i group objects in AC3D ? there are several objects in my model so i want to group them to make things easier. also how can i name a group ? can a single texture be applied to the whole group by selecting it instead of selecting individual objects. will be thankful if anyone can help. thanks. sscac3d. |

You can group/ungroup objects with "Edit -> Group" and "Edit -> Ungroup" commands. You can name the selected group with the "Tools -> Object property editor" (F9). All of these commands work in Group mode. Also, once you've selected a Group, you can texture it like you would an object; the texture gets applied to all objects in the group at once.
I strongly recommend taking a few moments and reading the AC3D manual, as all of these answers are in there, with other very useful info as well. Dennis |

Thank you very much Dennis.
I came across a few tutorials on the net and learnt AC3D going through them. Some how I didnt come across any tutorial where grouping is explained. Will certainly go through the manual. Thank you. - sscac3d |
