It would make things easier if the "Spin/Move/Zoom" icons were moved to the center of the window pane. Where they are now makes it hard to spin/move/zoom because there isn't much room to move the curser. Placing the icons in the center of the window pane would allow for more curser movement.

If you enable nav-select you can just click in the window and drag to spin or walk. Do you have a wheel on your mouse? That can be used for zooming.

The positioning of the icons is quite standard (eg: Lightwave, Daz Studio, BodyPaint ). Its just that the way they function is not in AC3D is not.
Usually, on left mouse down on the icon, the cursor arrow disappears (or changes appropriately) and as long as you keep the button down you zoom/rotate/translate and cursor does not go off the screen ... it stays on the icon as you move the mouse. griff ![]() |
