Hi,
I am new to 3D modelling and I am trying to learn how to use AC3D in order to create objects in Second Life. It looks like I have problems using the software as some things don't seem to work right. When I want to select vertices I click on the Vertex selection button, then on the vertex I want to edit. When I do it the whole object moves as I move the mouse. It looks like the software doesn't get into vertex selection mode. I am using Windows Vista and I wonder if there are some incompatibilities with AC3D. I have also noticed a few other anomalies. Is anyone else using the program on Vista? If so, what am I doing wrong? ![]() Indigo |

Never mind, I've found the problem. Indeed, the button doesn't work but the Select Vertices command under the Edit menu does. So, apparently this is a bug.

If you think there is a bug, you should report it but what I think is probably happening is that you are clicking on the selection and moving it. Try clicking 'None' or outside the green selection area to deselect everything.
