Is it possible to create a system of bones in ac3d?
Is it possible to texture only 1 polygon on a cube instead of the whole object? Is it possible to animate in ac3d? I have been using ac3d for a year now and was just wondering. |

1) There are only one texture per object in AC3D however you could either select the surface you want then use "surface->cut away object", apply the surface, and group it with it original shape, OR you could create a texture for the whole object which consists of sub images. 2) See point 0 lol |

I actually _do_ like blender for animations. It's a very powerful tool if you just got the grip once. Take a Saturday off, and you have it.
I prefer AC3D for modeling, though.

As a programmer rather than a modeller, i don't touch animation software unless i really have to, and then I wear rubber gloves. Ac3d, on the other hand, is fantastic for generating meshes for testing physics engines.

For keyframe (non-physics) animations, I like Poser myself. Blender's too much of a pain for my tastes, and most of the other inexpensive stuff doesn't have inverse kinematics. |

my screen is way to high resolution to watch the movie. the movie is about 1.5 inches by 2 inches on my screen when running at its native resolution.
