true joy-stick type spin, rotate, and tumble?
I can achieve all 3 directional rotations by using the the non-ortho windows, but, is there a way when using the ortho window alone to get true joy-stick type rotation on the selected object? It would be like letting the mouse movement in the up-down motion cause the object to pitch up or down towards me, and when moving the mouse in the left or right position, the object would yaw left or right. All I can get it to do right now is roll left or right, based on which corner is closest to the mouse when I left-mouse-button down. I rarely need to roll my object, but I need to pitch and yaw it all the time. Thanks.

I got my own answer - you hold down the alt-key and hold the left mouse button down - that gives you pitch and yaw control based on mouse movement
