locked objects lose their normal wireframe view
Hello guys,
just a short question. I am creating a model which consists of several objects (lets call them components) which partially overlaps. So when i am done with one component, i would like to work on another. However, to avoid messing the one Ive already finished - I am locking it. So far so good. PROBLEM: when I lock the object - it loses the normal view (shape with wireframe), just displays some lines and pointsx. As the result - i am not able to create my next model's component relative to already locked objects since it is barely understandable where the locked object boundaries are and how these two look together. QUESTION: how to make locked objects appear normally - fully shaped surface (like with interactive wireframe). Last edited by proximulator; 27th July 2008 at 08:41 AM. |

Re: locked objects lose their normal wireframe view
Maybe ... have a look in the settings (file / settings) and then in the "general" tab look for the last checkbox ; you might want to uncheck it !

Re: locked objects lose their normal wireframe view
Maybe try committing your subdivisions?
I run into this problem as well, but never with the SL Avatar models..only with shapes I make myself. I usually just go back and forth between "Lock Unselected" / "Lock None", to keep an eye on my work. |

Re: locked objects lose their normal wireframe view
luuckyy has the right answer. You can turn wireframe off in the options and make locked objects solid.
