Hi there,
I have been experimenting with the UVmapping tutorial for sculpties lisa wrote, and messing with creating own models, and was curious what is the best way to create a torus with a donout center... I have tried and tried, and best i seem to come up with is it keeps comming out looking like a weird mushroom or a button Last edited by Jikito; 10th November 2008 at 03:48 AM. |

The easiest way is to create a circle using the line tool, and then use "rotate around center". Long as you rotate around the proper axis, it will create a torus.

I wonder why you want to make a sculptie for a standard SL prim.... but I guess you're just experimenting with sculpties.
Have you tried setting the stitching type in SL to torus? |
