Re: Subdividing and Smoothing
Thank you Malekovits.
I am so new at AC3D that I do not know the difference between "divide surfaces" - don't know that one and "subdivide" - I do know how to do this one.

Re: Subdividing and Smoothing
select the object that you posted in the first post -> surfaces menu -> divide. Experiement with triangulation (surfaces menu -> triangulate). make a box and experiement. Also if etc. you want to make 2 subdivisions, make the one subdivision, commit the subdivision, experiement with triangulation and/or divide (and reverse these two actions), and then make another subdivision. there are many combinations... experiement...

Re: Subdividing and Smoothing
Hi Lisa,

Re: Subdividing and Smoothing
Oh, I just meant post a picture either in wireframe mode (w on the keyboard) or with the surface lines turned on. It's easier to see what's going on with the surfaces visible.

Re: Subdividing and Smoothing
Thanks Lisa. I'm leaning a lot more about how to use AC3D. I appreciate your help and I'll get back to you the next time I run into trouble.
