Please consider adding an easy skeleton animation system. A animation system for characters, creatures etc is hard to find on the low end for money and products like Fragmotion and such are not being supported anymore. Thank you!

Yeah, we've all been asking for this for a long time.
The general answer we get is "AC3D wasn't designed to use animation. To make it do that, we'd have to basically rewrite the program from the ground up." So, long story short, not going to happen. Now, if we could convince them to make an animation program as a stand alone sister program to AC3D (think Animation Shop to Paintshop Pro) that would let us import our AC3D models, that might be something we could get. No rewriting the main program, and it could be sold as a separate program.

I just downloaded this today
http://www.insanesoftware.de/index.p...x/features.php haven't tried it yet, but its free I've been trying Blender (free), but I'm brand new to this stuff and Blender is pretty difficult here's a intro Blender tutorial on how to draw, skeletonize and animate a Ginger Bread man in under an hour http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Do...ingerbread_Man there's also Art of Illusion which is also free http://www.artofillusion.org/docs/ha...animation.html I'm mostly interested in exporting to Ogre 3D so that's why AC3D is of interest to me |
