UV Map has been updated to version 1.0.1.
This release includes a "Space polar coordinates" option for spherical/cylindrical maps. http://supercoldmilk.com/ac3dplug/uvmap.html ![]() |

Wow, Dennis! This is a great plugin! I'm sure it'll come in handy for a great many models!

The one model I really needed the spherical maping for still maps kind of wierd. It still had a definite improvement though.

I just updated to 6.5, and find this plug-in will not work with the new version. Is there some other option? Does 6.5 have some way of setting a uv map to cylindrical that I'm not aware of?
[Edit: the plug-in does work with 6.5 You just have to put both the .p and .tcl files in the plugins directory, as it says in the instructions.] Last edited by ggunhouse; 28th July 2009 at 06:56 PM. |

Am I the only one interested in using the UV map plug-in with version 6.5?

I have no problem with it. Are you sure you have it in plugins ?

Thanks for the response. I'm glad to hear the the plug-in does work for some. That gives me hope that I can get it working for me.
I do have the uv map plug-in's .p file in the plugins folder, and the .tcl file in the tcl folder. "UV map" appears in the drop-down Tools menu. However, when I launch it, I get this error: invalid command name "ddhuvmap_dialog" invalid command name "ddhuvmap_dialog" while executing "ddhuvmap_dialog" (menu invoke) Glenn |

The directions say to put both files in the plugin folder.

Well, I guess I should have read the instructions more carefully.
Putting the .tcl file in the plugins folder (instead of the tcl folder), did solve the problem. Thanks for you help. I'm glad I persisted with my question. Last edited by ggunhouse; 28th July 2009 at 06:53 PM. |
