Is there a way to select multiple vertices then move each one individually?
I am modelling a car against background blue prints, and given the number of vertices in the model, it would be nice to work with sets of them when refining shapes. Thanks |

Seems to be contradictory to me. Selecting multiple vertices works with pressing "Shift". Then you move all of them. To move vertices individually you select only one. Did I miss something?

The problem occurs when modelling a car, for example. When trying to get the slope and curve of the grill correct the best view is top view. But in the top view the vertices you want to work with may be hard to distinguish from the ones above and below them given the steep slope of the front of the car. If you could highlight the vertices you want to work with in the front view, then switch to the top view, you could easily see how much to adjust each individual vertex in relationship to the others. It would also be helpful if you could hide vertices to avoid confusion.

I hope to get you right. If, as an example, body and grill are two separate objects, then you can hide the body and work only with the grill.
