I am still waiting for the licence number to arrive, but in the meantime I have been getting used to the controls and seeing what it can do. Is it possible to apply a texture to one face, on a mesh with several faces, i.e. windows and walls in a building, using only one window image and one wall image?
So far it looks like it will do me very well. Thanks Dicon ![]() |

Yes.
You'll find the Texture Coordinate Editor to be best of class. No other 3D application I've ever seen has reduced texturing to almost an afterthought. In any other program, it's a harrowing, jump-through-hoops experience to texture an object with a graphic. In AC3D it's intuitive, quick, accurate and very powerful. Suffice it to say, you'll be able to "skin" your house with repeating/recurring surfaces, no problem.
