On a PC, assigning an overlay image by coordinates (TerraServer has error code)
I import data ref file into WED and place a few things where they should be, and then export to x_plane's Custom Scenery folder. Everything shows up, but infiltrated by trees. How to fix?? Anyone?? Other problem, I construct a hangar using L and W measurements from Google Maps. Everything looks good, but when I superimpose over the overlay image for placement, they are too long by about 40%. Also, while placing runways in WED to match, I assign runway heading, and they are not lined up with those of image. Tried mag and true to no avail. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks |

Not at all certain, as I don't know much about X-Plane graphics requirements....
but perhaps there are limits to the pixel size of texture files? Perhaps they *must* be square (same pixel number on height as in width)? Or they must be "power of 2" pixel dimensions (e.g., 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, etc.) Other things to ask: have you textured the graphic in AC3D, and previewed it in AC3D? Did you use the TCE to check your mapping?
