Comments can't be added but X-Plane stores text in the data tag. It could be stored in there and the X-Plane plugin would need to handle it.
Is it just the hidden status you need stored in the .ac file or locked status too? |

I think both would be generally useful. I just did a quick test with an animated object for x-plane.
object data before was: Code:
anim_type=1 anim_keyframe_count=2 value0=0.000000 angle0=0.000000 value1=1.000000 angle1=0.000000 dataref=sim/flightmodel/engine/ENGN_oil_press_psi[1] Code:
testhidden=1 testlocked=1 As far as I can see the names for added values just can't match any of those used by the plugin. cheers peter

I think it's best that the hide/lock status goes in the main AC3D file stuff. The object data is for plugins and other stuff to use.
