Blender 2.80b import to AC3D 8.3.30
Has anyone tried to import a Blend file made with the latest 2.80b into AC3D 8.3.30?

Re: Blender 2.80b import to AC3D 8.3.30
Well, it seems that it doesn't work well, at least not for me.
A different workflow that seems to work is to export from Blender 2.80b in Wavefront OBJ format, then import the OBJ to AC3D 8.3, then export to X-Plane OBJ8. |

Re: Blender 2.80b import to AC3D 8.3.30
I started playing with the AC3D Blender add on, I've mostly got it importing AC3D files into Blender 2.80, which is the use-case I care about. Is this what you were using in Blender 2.79 to get .ac meshes out of Blender?

Re: Blender 2.80b import to AC3D 8.3.30
Thanks! I was thinking simply in terms of accessing the new features of Blender 2.80b and being able to export to X-Plane OBJ format, since Blender2XP doesn't yet support Blender 2.80...
It would appear that it won't be long before Blender 2.80 is supported... |
