"black" polygons???
hi everyone,
still working on the building i mentioned in my post about aligning to an axis (for those who didnt read that i've created the side of a building as flat polygons). now i have everything snapped to z-axis (thanks woody ) i started to extrude the various polygons to make the architectural features on the front of the building. however i selected a few and extruded them. when i look at the 3d view a few of them (some arches that go round the windows on one floor) are completely black even though the rest of the polygons are still white. the colour is not set to black - i am thinking i have done something wrong to make the polygons not be displayed right :? . if anyone could help me out i'd be grateful. if you need any more info i can try and give it. pete |

Re: "black" polygons???
The first three vertices of a poly need to be convex - use Surface->change vertex order to alter the order of the vertices until it appears correctly.
