AC3D Gallery
The screenshots page on www.ac3d.org has now been replaced by a gallery.
The new images added are from Woody and are most impressive. If you would like to include pictures of your models or renderings, please email them to me. Andy |

Re: AC3D Gallery
Great job Andy, very cool. I didn't know that you were going to use all the photos hehe.
Hopefully this will give people passing by more of an example of what AC3D can do. Thanks, I'm honored. |

Re: AC3D Gallery
BTW, I think that some of Razer's planes would look good up there. Maybe it would help draw those who do game assets and create greater interest in AC3D.

Re: AC3D Gallery
I can't get that stupid island scene to render right in Pov-ray otherwise I'd submitt it. Not the good model but probably the best to show.

Re: AC3D Gallery
That was a pretty tough job trying to tackle water. I've never messed with trying to model an ocean before so that was a learning experience for me as well.
Just be patient with it, you'll pick up on it in no time. |

Re: AC3D Gallery
It looks great I finally see how you did the dome thing, and you won't believe how I interpreted what you said and went about doing it. Well, actually I sent you the file ops: so you do know  ops:  So embarrassed. It looks so good now It doesn't feel like my creation, and as I add to it I feel like I'm ripping you off

Re: AC3D Gallery
Oh fiddle faddle, don't worry about it. You can always delete what I did and do it over. I just did that as an example. BTW, I sent you a read-me file that I forgot to include in the zip file.
It tells you exactly what I did to get those effects and gives a few more tips. I was on the chat thingy earlier and was hoping you would get on just in case you had any more questions. I thought you did a really good job. You gave the palm tree some pretty nice detail. I would have liked to have seen the textures that you applied to them, but 10 megs is a bit much for sending over through e-mail lol. |
