I didn't think about extruding, I always try to make a single block and just manipulate vertices...that is very time consuming and doesn't allow much freedom. I'm going to have to try your extrusion technique sometime.

I dont know if I would call it a technique. but I like to keep it simple. my way has many benifts. if you want you can tell people about my way. lol it seems as though I found a new way to make better models look more complexed
