Re: Bumblebee
Looks like I cant leave this alone. Here it is in a town environment. The town are made and put together in Ac3d and rendered in Carrara. I kinda liked this one. As a bonus for you Ac3d users, here is the town, free to download for a couple of weeks. It containes the ac file and all the textures I used on the road and buildings. Textures are from cgtextures.com b.t.w. The buildings are simple, but they look ok with texture. Use the model as you like. Maybe expand and build new buildings or whatever. The zipfile is around 15mb big. edit: Link removed. IM me if you want the town now.

Re: Bumblebee
Now then. I have done some more changes to the "bug". Think I will leave it like this. Only time will tell. b.t.w. I got in contact with the guy who did the original concept who I based this model on.His name is Corentin SEGUIN de BROIN (click name for his homepage). If I understood him corectly he got his inspiration from Masamune Shirow's "Appleseed"

Re: Bumblebee
:-D
Here you go! As already said, I'm stunned how close to my model you gat, just by following the few images I posted on the web! o_0 Very Very impressed. You do have excelent modeling skills, congrats! Didn't know about this software, AC3D. I'll watch ya from now on. Keep up elcoco75 ;-) EDIT: Renders are cool too. Like the #22 the most because of its 70's flavor style; yeah well, bumblebee, but colors looks pretty much 70's Sci-Fi illustrations: colors and stripes ! Is this the standard Carrara renderer? Looks nice! Last edited by shtl; 10th July 2008 at 04:02 AM. |

Re: Bumblebee
Well hello shtl. Very nice of you to drop of some lines. I apreciate it comming from someone that talented as you. And to all the other here at the forum, you really should take a look at his homepage. There are some just exellent mech designs and other stuff there.
And yes, its Carrara I use to render.
