Re: Diablo wip
Your unfinished models look so nice. If you see my unfinished lamp, it doesn't have that professional look to it. Yours kind of looks like a clay model where as my lamp looks like a cartoon.
What causes that? |

Re: Diablo wip
That is because the pictures are rendered pictures. Not from Ac3d but a program with render capabilities. Just export your lamp and import it in some program you can render it in. (Bryce 5.5 and Kerkythea are free.)

Re: Diablo wip
ah, ok. I didn't realize they were rendered pictures. Did you make those models with just AC3D?
I'm guessing you rendered it in carrara? I've heard people say AC3D is hard to make organics, what do they mean by this? |

Re: Diablo wip
Yes, I used only Ac3d to make Diablo, and render in Carrara. Dont know why it should be hard to make organics in Ac3d. Almost all my ships are pretty organic looking(Stinger, gunship,Creatura among others) Organics are no prob. in Ac3d as far as I know

More or less done with the textures on the Diablo now. So I am continuing to make a landing platform of some kind. Started it on my holiday.

Re: Diablo wip
Made some changes to the skull to make it look more rough. Kinda plates welded together.

Re: Diablo wip
Still working on this skull. Think I got it now. Made a underlying frame and combined some faces. Also another texture.

Re: Diablo wip
Ok, a tiny little animation of the Diablo. It looks like embedded players unfortnuatly arent supported by this forum, so here is a link instead.
