Thumbs down features I don't know how to use... please help

Hello, I've just got AC3D but I dont know how to control certain parts of it

1. In the 3D view, how to you get it to become a full image instead of just lines... I hope you know what I mean
2. Are there some good tutorials on this site that can teach me how to make my own models?
3. What do you save the finished product as so you can open it in 3D but not in the program AC3D?

Thanx in advance for any answers you give me

1. Do you mean solid view versus wireframe? To toggle wireframe mode, press the 'w' key on your keyboard, or select 3D > Wireframe on the menu.

2. Most of the basic tools are described in the help file, for starters. Go to Help > Manual to load the manual in your web browser.

3. Define "view it in 3D". There are many, many different viewers and renders. It depends on what you want to do with the file.

Some heavily used file types are:

- POV-Ray .pov, for rendering to a high-quality 2D image
- .X, for loading the mesh into your own programs written in XNA or with DirectX
- 3D Studio .3DS, importable to most other 3D programs
- DXF, for importing into cad or 2D vector art programs like Corel Draw

Are you using Vista on an machine with Intel graphics? If so, see if you can update the graphics drivers.

A:
1. Use the Eye button in the 3d view.
2. Goto the Resource section then download the tutorial videos
3. Click on the File menu then click on the Export selection, then you can choose what sort of file you want to make that doesnt need to be viewed in ac3d.

i think in question #3 he means to export it into a file that can be shared with others and still keep the 3d view, like exporting it into flash and allowing rendered flash file to be viewed from any angle, at the click and pull of a mouse.

i've seen similar quicktime files were u can freely rotate and object in 3d, but im not to fond wit that program,

i never meant importing a 3d file into flash, but more like saving it so flash can open it, lke by using a plugin or sumthing,

but i found ans easy way

go to TOOLS, then go at the bottom and click on "save 3d win as png spin animation"

this will save frames of your mdel spinning, then you import it into flash, or a movie program, then put it in order and you model is spinning
