Hi,
I have created a tent model by revolving an ellipse (half) 6 times 360 degree. Now I have 6 walls. I need to unroll (to make it falt) one of the wall to get a print on the paper and draw the pattern on the tent fabric. Can anybody tell me how can I do it? Haluk |

Use Object->fragment to turn each surface into a seperate object.
If you need more than one surface in each 'piece', use Surface->cutaway after selecting each section's surfaces. Then you will need to rotate each object/surface so that they all lie flat with each other. To get a print - use edit->copy-3d-window-to-clipboard and paste into a picture editor. Andy |
