Default AC3D vs CATIA

I have used CATIA for about 5 months and now want to transition to AC3D.

Is AC3D less complicated than CATIA?

How fast can one learn to model in AC3D???

Thanks!

Welcome aboard Flygirl. I cannot compare Catia to AC3D, I have however tried several 3D packages and AC3D was the only one I hav ever completed and used a model in (I use models for tech training simulations), and this was less than 48 hrs. If you haven't already - download the demo and manual and just have fun. Andy is busy developing the next version, but he and the rest of us will usually get back to you within 24 hrs.

Have Fun
