Default A script/plugin to highlite a vertex

Does anyone have a script/plugin that will allow me to move through the list of vertices (starting from a given vertex number), highlighting the vertex and indicating its number?

regards,

A plugin would be possible but why would you want to do this?

Hi Andy,

I'm trying to develop a method of animating an avatar in VRML by using essentially skin animation. The examples (below) requires BlaxxunContact 5 from here : http://www.blaxxun.com/home/index.ph...tpage&Itemid=1

An example avatar here : click on the red cube.

or here (click on the avatar)

To make it work I need to have vertices in blocks ... on the correct side of pivot points. The models I am playing with often have vertices arranged in a more random manner, and sequential vertices will jump back and forth from one side of pivot point to the other. So I am trying to figure out away of organizing the vertices. Currently, I can export a model from AC3D to VRML, add a little script in VRML to track vertices ... and monitor them that way.

Would be a little quicker if I could do it all in AC3D.

But don't worry about it .... I just asked in case one might have been written.

By the way the animation you see was created from a BVH motion capture file.

Regards,

griff
