this program seems to have almost no common file types to render to. seeing as im a teenager, i dont exactly have money to spend to purchase a program just for rendering. in fact, i bought ac3d since it was cheap and usable. so, does anybody have a suggestion on how i can render or export a model i have made? thanks for the help

What file formats were you looking for?
Download Povray from www.povray.org. It's free and very good. See the section in the manual about rendering. AC3D is mostly configured for Povray - see Tools->render. There's also renderman compatible output. There are a number of renderers for this format too. Andy |

Povray is very good. Woody used it for his great pictures on the gallery.
Check out his tutorials on this forum - also his own web page. Andy |
