Default Can a Model Be Made to Change Direction?

Hello,

Suppose you have a cylinder (or any other shape for that matter) that you want to travel in a horizontal direction for a given distance and then travel vertically for another distance, all as part of one movement of the Animation Time bar sliding from one end to the other; in other words, operated by a single dataref.

Can that be done in AC3D (with X-Plane plugin)? If so, please explain how.

Thanks,
Bill

Got my answer in the X-Plane.org forum, at

http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=63228&hl=

"Snow" provided a sample file that anyone can download, and near the end of the thread a very nice mini-tutorial on how to use keyframes to change the direction of a model.
