Default Price/Upgrade?

Since the next version of AC3D wont be called 3.7, I'm figuring all registered users are going to have to purchase it. Will there be an upgrade price? Any idea what the prices may be? My current email was closed. How can I update your records with my new address? Thanks for the info.

There will be no upgrade charge if you purchased AC3D within the 12 months before the forthcoming release. If you purchased AC3D outside this time period, there will be a charge of $25.

The new version includes:
  • 3D/2D text generator
    printing facilities
    optimisations for high-polygon models
    realtime mirroring
    object mirror function
    realtime moving/resizing/rotating
    boolean operations plugin
    combine surfaces function
    object library
plus many more speed optimisations, improvements to importers and exporters etc.

The next release is currently being alpha tested and the release will be announced here and on the main www.ac3d.org web site.

Hmm... too sad. Then I have to stay with version 3.7. I cannot afford to pay for a programm that I only use occasionally.

Greets,

While I have gotten a lot of mileage out of the version I registered (I registered at 2.5) I am sorry to say I cannot make the upgrade. It is no doubt worth the money, but they featureset in 3.6 is all I currently need. Should that need grow (doubtable, but never say never) trust me, AC3D will be the first place I come.
