Default invisible grid

Hi,
I'm running AC3D 7.0.11, on a Macbook Pro, and have a complex model I wish to resize.
Trouble is that I can't see the grid, even with 'Grid ON' in any window.
Any suggestions? Do I need a plugin?
I've installed quickgrid and that does't help...

You might be zoomed right out. If you are working on large objects, you can change the grid dimensions. Select an object and see how big it is (read it from the top of the AC3D window). Then set the grid from File->Settings accordingly.

Thanks Andy for the rapid reply,

Sho' enuff, the grid is there when I zoom in, but please tell me what to do in File settings!

The object (Group) size appears to be:
W24597.77 H8322.28 D42471.70

Cheers,
Tony

Select Settings from the File menu and change the first two numbers on the General tab.
