Default Question about rotating 3D camera view

Hi,

I am wondering if there is any way to disable the constraint on the 3D viewer rotation that requires that the Y axis is always "up". In particular, I would like to be able to roll the camera about its viewing direction axis. For example, if the object being viewed were a car, I would like to be able to flip the car on its side. However, I do not want to alter the actual data.

Thanks,
Daniel

There's no way to change this .

How about using walk mode? (press 2, or use the menus) You can get into almost any position then.
