hey Olaf,
you seem to be very good at car modeling.
The render in Povray is also very nice.
Good luck for the rest of your work

Hi Olaf,
I'm currently modeling a car myself, but I do the job as if I was making a building or a house ... and I know that I didn't choose the best way (but I do persist ).

So I'm just curious to know how you work with cars yourself ?
Can you explain the very first steps, maybe with pics ?

Thanks in advance.

MMmmm I think I understand a bit better now after some searches with google ...

The image above, is a quicky done in a few minutes.

Is that the way you proceed yourself, ie edges extrusions for modeling the shape of the car ?

did you start out by using the line tool and then use the extruding feature.

Looks a bit rough, did you manually move the vertices?

PS Olaf, I've been a big fan of the XJ220 since I was eight years old . That model makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside, but also really anxty because the car is not street legal in the US, and costs over $700,000 to my information...
