Default How to add texture to all sides of a cylinder?

:? I am trying to add a concrete texture to a cylinder with end caps.

When applying the texture using; Object, Texture, Load Texture, the texture only shows on the sides of the cylinder.

If I open TCE and select All, the the texture looks good on the sides of the cylinder, but the top and bottom looks like stripes. If I select Top the the sides look like stripes.

The only way that I have been able to get any decent results is to create the cylinder and add the texture and then create an elipse as a poly, apply the texture and position it on top of the cylinder. :? :?

Hi,
You should consider selecting some surfaces before opening the TCE.
For example, select the top surfaces of your cylinder and then in the TCE push the top button on the remap panel ...
Same thing for the bottom side of your cylinder.
