Newbie Requires Texture Help

[rk4353w]

When I save a model with a texture in .ac format, the texture does not appear when I reopen the file.
I get a message which says"texture_read: I need a filename with a suffix"
Also, the console says"can't assign texture"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
