Smile How to remove materials

Is this possible to set no any material at all on an object? Because I want to customize the materials in another software. Thanks.

Not quite sure what you mean, but you can use the colors at the bottom left to set to different, well surface colors I call them. So when you load it up into another program you can use the surface colors to set as materials. That's how I do it with AC3D and Vue.

My understanding is that all surfaces have to have at least a "default" material ( otherwise you couldn't see them ). This does not stop you from applying materials in other programs. I usually use the different collors to keep track of different objects / assemblys in my model and then apply materials ( including bump maps ) and textures in another program such as Cararra or Swift 3d. The main advantage of AC3D is speed, I have several, more powerful programs in my arsenal, but almost always start out in AC3D and sometimes I do the whole project there.
