Question Cut away object

What is the difference between "Cut Away Object" and Copy/Paste if any?

Probably with "cut away object" you cut it out of the mesh, leaving a hole if you delete it. With copy\paste you just copy the surfaces and paste a new one, leaving the model intact.

I don't know and maybe I have it wrong, but it looks the exactly the same to me. Meaning an identical copy.

Well, its not quite the same. Look at the pics. Cut away gives you the option to cut away the surface into a separate object. Copy\paste just copyes the surface without removing anything from the original.
