Default Building A Room

I am probably missing this somewhere in the documents but, if I am making a room and I want to thicken the walls and use a texture inside and out, is there an easy way to do this? I know the polygons are 'one' sided.

Or do I need to make boxes (wall panels) the thickness of the walls I want and link them individually?

Default Re: Building A Room

Quick and easy would be to create a Block object...

Duplicate it...

Shrink the duplicate until it fits neatly inside the first Block.

Select both...

Object/Boolean/CutAway

I'm unsure as to how friendly your resulting shape will be to texture, but you will have an enclosed space.

Further, your verts are not likely to be optimized for low-poly output.
