Can you give a example of what you are trying to accomplish, for instance do you want to smooth out a block polygonal like object ? If so select object mode then from the object menu choose Subdivide once. This should generally smooth the object, you make get some unwanted edge results depending on how you design your model. Please try to rephrase your .jpg question.

I urge you though it may be hard to read thru the manual and do all the beginner tutorials. After that experiment with what you learn.

Hullo,

AC3D uses external renderers, such as POVRay. By default, when you render an image there will be a BMP file created in the AC3D directory (titled the same as the filename you provide in the rendering dialog). You can convert BMPs to JPG with just about any rendering program.

I think in Windows you can also select 'save 3d view to PNG' or something similar (in the tools menu, I think).

As for pokemon, there are quite a few - start with the simple ones. I did a pikachu head the other night using a sphere and editing individual vertices. It wasn't terriffic, but my two-year old was amused.

Have fun,

Check the "Pov-Ray for newbies" section in the tutorials and resources section. There's a link to the site to download it. I also wrote up a little tut on how to set it up to render using AC3D.
