Default Donut shape

How do I make that donut shaped object in ac3d? I swear I have done it before and now I don't remember how the heck I did it. Thanks

Make a disk off to the side of the Y axis, the farther the disk is from the Y axis the bigger the donut.

select object -> revolve and have it revolve around the Y axis. Also, play with the number of segments until you have the right look to the torus (donut).

This is also a great way to form springs and screw threads by changing the offset value. There is a good explanation in the manual.
