Object Instances, Local Transformation, Object Information
Object Instances:
I frequently make copies of the same object. Multiple instances would be extremely useful, with edits to the original affecting all copies. Local Transformation: Currently, transformation relative to a surface or an edge requires a good working knowledge of trigonometry, a calculator, and several sheets of scrap paper . Setting a rotation axis has been a massive, massive help. A tool for transformation parallel to an edge or perpendicular to a surface would be even better. Local Axes: For both object instances and local transformation, preservation of an object's original axes would be helpful. In other words, a record would be kept of the orientation of an object before it was rotated and translated into its installed position. Object Information: Currently, selecting two vertices gives the distance between the vertices. I would also like to see the vector and angle. Guy. |
