Default AC3D features question?

I know AC3D has no built-in animation support. But I was wanted to know is AC3D has the ability to have a 2D photograph scanned in allowing you to track the out lines. After you have completed the tracing you have to option to create you 2D trace out line into a 3D object. I have seen a few other 3D applications that have the feature but I don’t know if AC3D supports this. :?:

You can go into the menus in the corners of the orthographic views, select Set Background Image, and put it on so you can trace it.

Ok thanks for the feed back on the tracing tool. One last question after I trace it can I assign dominions to make the 2D object become 3D ?
