Default Elements ?

re: Elements

In 3DSMax you have the ability to break-up an object into elements.
Anyone know if there something similar/comparable in AC3D ??

Do you mean groups?
Like seperate the bonnet and doors from the body of a car etc.

The description from the web for an element is:

"A group of contiguous faces found in an object."

"An element is a sub object"

In my particular case I want to use it as a smoothing group.

Make them all separate objects and group them in the "hierarchy view"(F8).
