Default Re: Using Pov-Ray 3.5 with AC3D ( A newbies guide ) updated

Help: I am trying to render an AC3D object using POV-Ray 3.5 but I get an error message: could not find INI file. Anyone out there that can help.

Default ProRay Problem

I am not very knowledgeable of AC3D or PovRay and need help.

When I click on render for my object in AC3D, 3D view, I get the following message’

Output file type: Povray : Name: Coffee Pot

Render Program: C:\Program files\POV-Ray for Windows v3.6\bin\PVengine.exe

Render parametors: +UV+AO.2+FT32%s

Results” Command executive failed: check program path and syntex

Note: I tried output type in both Povray and 3D Studio and got the same results.
I not sure what output to use and if it does finally work, will I be able to save it to AC3D so that I can work on it? Thanks to anyone who can put me on the straight path.

Your POV RAY files cannot have spaces in them so POV RAY is looking for the first word of your file only. Guess how I figured that one out
