Hi,

I think I understand this more, I did get past 3 levels, and it seems the fun is in watching the zombies, which are yours beat down doors and or attack people that you target, Once targeted, you manuever into a good watching spot then hit the z button for slo mo if you like. The resulting ragdoll sequences are indeed interesting.

I did get stuck on the fifth level though.. I like the diversity of characters.and weapons!

Can you add brains flying to the head splats??

Fun Stuff..

On the 'town' type levels you want to take out as many street walkers as possible in the open.
In the buildings its a bit of a death trap so you want to be able to sacrifice one zombie or two.

Then send in the horde once you know the explosions are done!
You can free roam the levels and scope out the enemy.
Just tell the zombies to sit tight while you do that.
If you hear gun fire while on the hunt, hit R to rush, if there
is someone close enough...they are done for.
Then tell the zombies to sit tight again.

And yes its very much "watch the zombies", this is for zombie fans
who don't have a Romero budget! Unreal how well my high ideals for this
have come true in this game!

Rushing sends your zombies on a hunt, which can work wonders,
or lead them to their doom, learning when and where to pull that
off is part of the learning experience.

Hopefully I can get the camera free of the zombie time later,
so you can stay in slow-mo while zipping around to see ALL
the action that happens in the Rush.

Ideally I could record it all and there would be a sit back
and watch the 90 minute zombie movie mode. :-)

Thanks for asking, but won't know until the very end.
Looks like we have a good shot.

As soon as I know I'll be making the rounds to bow and say
"A special thank you to all my fans!" like some Hollywood movie star.

Looks like a funny game.
But I've played it for only 10 minutes because of the WASD controls keys.
I do have an european keyboard (azerty ...) and playing the game with the WASD controls is a nightmare.

You should had an option for the users to set their own controls.

Anyway, congrats for the game !

Ok will do luucky.
Let you know as soon as I have a script for that.

If you look in Data/Scripts/UDG_Functions/UDG_Keyboard.lua

You can set they keys yourself, in the interim.
Think of it as hacking practice.

Thanks again Mr Bones.

Hey Luucky if you tell me what keys you'd use I'll hack the script and
post a zipped UDG_Functions folder for you to replace the one thats in there now.

KEYS
W: move forward
S: move back
A: move left
D: move right

H or SPACE: all zombies will hold position until given orders

F: all zombies will follow the player
R: all zombies rush attack, seeking out any living to eat
I: activates the help text
Z: toggles 'zombie time' slow motion
ESC: activates the menu

Thanks Ham,

I would be happy with :
W: move back
S: move left
A: move forward
D: move right

and the other controls are ok.

I've opened the LUA script but can't find where the WASD keys are defined ...
Shame on me I used to be a developper in the past

Oh thats totally my fault, movement is in UDG_Game.lua
All the other non movement stuff is in UDG_Keyboard.lua
What a maze of files!

Zipped UDG_Functions
Unzip and throw into Data/Scripts, replacing the original.

Sorry for that goof up.
Hope you have a good time. :-)

Once I've had my coffee and degreasing I'll find that
link to the iGame3D AC3D WTF Import/Export plugin in case anyone feels like modding.

The entire iGame3D project is packaged in the game (except excess models etc).
A change of script turns the game into an editor (a buggy one).
Maybe you'll pick up the old dev torch!

[edit: plugin link added]
