Default Military Helmet

Guys am trying to make a military helmet but seems that am not doing it good, any help will be appriciated

Start with a sphere. Cut out some surfaces, and morph the edges. LOL.

I made a sphere and cut it, but i dont know how to morph the edges, when i upload to second life it does not appear as a helmet

Lisa answered your SL question. But as for morphing the edges. After you cut, go into vertex mode, select just the vertexes' that you want to morph, and pull them in the direction you wish them to be. This may have to be accomplished by pushing or pulling each individual vertex, but think it will be worth the effort. there is a plugin that is available that selects just the edges of an object.

i managed to remove the unwanted stuff from it and its ok, but its still does not look like a real helm, and is there a way to make it emtpy from inside? cause its like a half of melon?

He he. Don't know how you got the surfaces on the flat of the sphere, but as you do; you can go into surface mode select each surface and delete them. Have you tried to make a sphere, then go into surface mode, select the bottom halfs' surfaces and then delete them, this could be easier. Grab the edges then and morph them to the desired positions(this probably is easiest when in either surface or vertex mode and select just the bottome edge vertexes. Then weh done go into object mode and make the half shpere 2S. Best wishes on this.
