Default Sending plug-in generated data to the renderer.

What renderer to use is configurable - great!

How about also making it configurable to have a plug-in generating the output to the renderer (ie not only a exporter-plugin)

Hi Per,

I'm not sure what you mean. Any exporters (internal and plugins) can be selected for the renderer output file type.

What is it that you want to do?

Well, I rather press the Render button than dwell into menus. 8)

Maybe I am (or will be anyway when I get my &$!#$ plug-in to work as intented) the only one to use something else than the built-in POVRay exporter. If so, then this is a one-user request only and can naturally be discarded as such.

On the other hand, thinking conceptually, the better support AC3D has for replacing it's peripheral functionality with plug-ins/add-ins/macros/whatever, the more you can focus on improving its core functionality. Not that it needs it, 5.0 was a killer, but I guess there will be a 6.0 eventually :-)
