Is anyone else having this issue - a longstanding one that I've always just worked around.
My AC3D (6.4.30 0f 2008) seems to ignore all "g" statements on both import and export of .obj files so the resulting files are all one big group called g0. (similar but less of an issue, it seems to ignore materials and only use its own internally generated ones, but that is an easy post-export fix. Annoying right now as I try to fine tune some conforming clothing I'm setting up for Poser / Daz. Welcome any hints or suggestions Cheers, Lx |

It should load materials from the materials file. Try the latest version of AC3D, It may have better obj support.

Thanks Andy.
I'll test materials again. As for .obj support I'll work-around for now as there are other priorities for spend. Interesting that such a central feature of the format is problematic. Lx |
