Default A lift for my stargate model

I was kinda fed up on the stargate model back then, and moved on to other things. Now I have opened it up again and are doing some changes. I'm not happy with the stairs and are making a lift. Also adding a door and some other stuff.

Started with the hydraulics now. Extrud along path is really helpful, but it needs alot of tweeking all the same.

I got a bit sidetracked with this lift thingy. I started all kinda crap instead like the nurnies. But now I finally got it done. I ended up on 437 objects. Could probably have merged a whole lot of them, but I feel I loose the versatility when merging.

The new rotaition option in the TCE was a humongous help on this one. It was a pure pleasure to texture it. I'll post some renders when theyre done as well. Now I'm off to make a new monster for the stargate, and add a door on the upper deck and maybe some small details here and there.

Nice textures Thor.
I like the way the metal looks a bit aged / dirty.
