Now its goin better. Doing it initialy by had was probably a good exersise all the same.

This is the latest.
Look at that "knife"ing!

I still cant get it to slice directly through either a cone, or a hexagon with the other. Just makes a mess, and cuts full length surfaces out?

Did this one with one knife surface, and rotated between slices.
Notice the slices on the "worn down" point. Went a little crazy with the knife once i could use it!

(ill give it a rest now, and let you go back to all your ships. Sick of stationary yet? Might go for something different next time. Although i do like realistic objects)

Bloody good exercises.
Nothing like the discipline of knowing exactly what it has to look like.

That does the trick!

BUT, how do i fix it when its already there?

Thanx

The trick is to select all surfaces then ctrl right cligk drag each side of the hidden inner surface to be left with only that selected, then delete.

Ha HA!

Thankyou Spinner!

Thats the one.

Dont know if youve got your set up different, or maybe you ment "shift"?
Ctrl just moves the view around when right clicking on mine.
It works a treat tho! Knowing there is a hiden surface around that vertices point has already proven to be usefull in many other exersises too. THANKYOU!
Now, cause i always want more... how do i put that surface back in?
Say i have a circle of vertices on their own, how do i "ring" them with that single surface line?
This would be good for all those "No external surface to extrude" error messages!
