Default objects and second life

Hello Folks,
Already said...new here..and tried to follow a lit tut from AC3D webpage(making a winecup),i tried it.....made some bevels to see what it looks like,lol,and exsport it to SL as normal sculp,right?
How come i see just a ball?it seems the map is not made? possible ?

Correct. If you made the object from an AC3D tutorial, you'll need to UV map the object yourself before you can import it into SL.

The best place to start is with the TCE tutorials; there are a couple in the resources section of the AC3D site that you might find useful.

Lisa's got a great tutorial on exporting sculpties on her blog that might help as well.

I had a look at the video...great help!! thx so mucht and the text with it? whas even better....,i seen your used a background texture?do i have to do that or ? can i make the object without that?Anyway...again a greattttt thx for the reply.

No, the background texture is not required. I just use one because it's a lot easier for me to trace over something than to eyeball it.
